When will I be able to drive after the procedure?

Twenty Four (24) hours after the procedure

When will I be able to eat after the procedure?

You will be able to eat after the procedure. It is recommended that you eat a light meal.  The patient will be offered juice and snack immediately following the procedure.


When will I be able to resume normal activities?

After the procedure the Physician will discharge the patient with their specific instructions

Why is so much information repeatedly needed?

The Digestive Health Center is a separate entity from the Doctor's office and require our own records and evaluations

Why must I arrive 30-45 minutes prior to my scheduled time?

Paperwork must be filled out for the Digestive Health Center and an assesstment by the Nurses and the Anesthesiologist .

Why no dark color nail polish?

It interfers with the assesstment of your oxygenation
